Did anyone else notice that Liz Garbus directed this episode? She almost exclusively directs documentaries, so that’s an interesting turn.

I don’t believe for a second that either Callie OR Shauna would talk to the police without a lawyer present. That bothered me a little bit, suspension-of-disbelief wise.

Bet y’all are super proud of yourselves for not putting Pepe or Speedy on this list. Pepe, I get it, but Speedy, as others have noted, is quite popular with actual Mexicans who don’t care about white progressives feeling offended and outraged on their unsolicited behalf.

There’s cases where movies very much benefit from an extended runtime, and movies where it’s clear a better editor was desperately needed. In the case of the former, try having a better attention span?
