I wonder if there's any precedent to exile Night Watch brothers north of the Wall (or just leave them there on an excursion). Unless Jon recommences his Commander duties there seems to be a power vacuum at Castle Black so who can order Thorne and his accomplices' heads chopped off.
They really like four letter first names on this show don't they.
It helps that Frank Dillane has immense charisma, which I'm sorry to say Kim Dickens and Cliff Curtis do not. I really root for Nick and I found Frank good in Sense8 also. Kim and Curtis can't carry a show in the way Andrew Lincoln does with TWD. (The other characters are great but TWD succeeded because of Rick.)
The show has wasted time on Ramsey for a couple of seasons.
