I was just about to post this. Like most of Winslow's books, I blew through it in a night because I didn't want to put it down. I wasn't a huge fan of the ending (a bit too self-righteous, IMO) but a fantastic read nonetheless.

The Pharmakon album reminds me of Tearglass & Plateglass, which was an awesome project. 'Black Triage' was a fantastic concept album. It's definitely dark, but it's great music for the right setting and mood.
