The sensor isn’t there just to tell you the ambient temp. It’s actually used in a handful of things from engine combustion reasons to auto climate control. Someone just decided to take the extra few minutes to add a display for the driver because it cost next to nothing extra to do so. And I’m sure at some point

If this comes with a diesel and can tow around the same as a Colorado/Canyon with their Diesel.... sign me up. I was planning on buying a Diesel Canyon towards the end of next year. That was largely due to the fact that it’s the ONLY diesel in the mid-size pickup marker.
