It would be really nice if season three gave some more time to Chelsea O'Bannon. Besides Marco, she's one of the few people in the show that isn't cowed by the Rayburns. Chloe is a great actress and could really throw some female energy into the show, b/c the other women, while not cardboard cut-outs, seem to be

What the show's so good at is exploiting that ambivalence where I like the Rayburns too, all while realizing more and more how they really shouldn't be liked. Everything they touch ends up not good.

The problem with Danny and his siblings seems to be the fact that, while being 'grown men/women,' they are damaged, and as John movingly came to realize in speaking before the victim's meetings, most of that damage circles around their not doing anything about the damage done to Danny. I'm all for guys taking

I guess I would be irked as well if not for the fact that 90% of all humans from 13-19 act exactly like Jane at times (not to mention the other ages, i.e. the whole Rayburn family, and their similar attitude of class snobbery/ 'smug' indifference and disrespect re the O'Bannons and most anyone else not of their clan)

after seriously wondering why sally didn't get her 'helpers' to help her, or she tried a few times with random Hispanics who seemed to be on to the next resort hotel not run by dysfunction and the occasional murder, one could say the lack of 'free trade' with illegal immigrants being shut down has led to Sally simply

There has to be a season three or I will be forever haunted by whether or not that Effing shower head ever got fixed. (not meant to be smarmy; I just finished the last two episodes and look forward to discussing them for their 'mostly' positive qualities)

If you look back at the review, the 'toxic masculinity' was an 'also' part of the review, an addition to the initial theme of familial toxicity and its cause-and-effect consequential stew you mentioned. As themes among many in the series, though, I think you can have both 'toxic masculinity' and 'strong women' fucking

Bloodline is one of the strangest shows on television, and not in a bad way. What other shows have actors like Sevigny or Leguizamo on with about the same screen time as 'suspect #1' of an old Law and Order show? I don't really get why everybody has been 'let down' by the beginning or whole of season 2. Second

You're right, my bad, temporary amnesia regarding them.

I did wish Hawk would have pulled a Dead Poets Society during his cult bar mitzvah, i.e. getting a phone call from 'God' in the middle of the Friday telecast, one in which he, paraphrasing God, tells the assembled he has been informed he needs to get off his ass and back into some sweet valley loving like every

yer right about the civility. and thanks for showing it, and helping me not think I was crazy regarding the edit. I have rarely commented on the webs due to its drunk middle school vibe, but perhaps things aren't that bad around here.

the cut to peru, unless I missed something, was jarring in a not good way, especially with him wearing the same clothes; not that big a deal, all finales sometimes have to cram things in w/less finesse, but still, considering the implications, it was just weird, like boom he's hanging out at the hotel, and boom, he's

in the 2nd episode and I am afraid this a 'The Game' scenario. which totally seems to be going there, via the 3rd episode. I hope I'm paranoid, but if I'm not I am going to want hours back.
