Wow, that looks like an expensive event. In other news, I actually am looking forward to trying out Kinect. Burning calories while playing games can't be all bad.

That settles it, Call of Duty needs a musket based multiplayer mode.

I think Medal of Honor sold well based on its subject matter and hype, but I don't think you have to play fps games 80 to 90 hours a week to realize that better military shooters exist.

@MarzipanPersuasion: Bonus stuff, I'm ok with, but it'd be better if they also made it available on a separate URL besides Facebook.

@Đipic: I was joking about the murderous mothers part, though that did really happen. If Farmville can drive people to kill, just image the possibilities with a Dragon Age ... yeah.

Note to developers: Dragon Age 2 is a hardcore game. Facebook games are for casuals and murderous mothers.

I think the biggest flaw with Medal of Honor is the lack of creativity that went into creating it. It's a "by the numbers" shooter that simply does it's best to ape the best two military shooters on the market — Battlefield Bad Company 2 and Modern Warfare 2. Gameplay kind of reminds me of old-school Goldeneye mixed with Halo.

I think the review for this game can pretty much be summed up by the heading which reads, "This sounds like a train wreck" ...

@thebrendan03: no, that wasn't the point of what I posted at all. I wasn't knocking their review system, I was just summarizing what I liked and didn't like about the game. And it wasn't the same as the kotaku review, though I experienced and commented on some of the same issues.
