Wait, Arkham Asylum missed the point of being Batman? What was the point of being Batman again? I'm confused, because the game involved a lot of sneaky sneaky, and even the TV show from way back when featured a lot of *SLAM*, *BANG* *POW* fisticuffs.

I'm buying this dlc for the weapons locker, which Kotaku keeps forgetting to mention is included.

@Wolfgeist: When I initially conceptualized what it was going to be like to play MAG, I expected something like Battlefield Bad Company (which involves vehicles as well as FPS gunplay) but that took place on a much larger scale. I expected battalions of tanks and helicopters being able to do battle, or massive seiges…

There were some great games this year. For me personally, I truly have enjoyed the following in no particular order:

I played the beta a month or so ago when free codes were handed out on slickdeals.net. The game has potential, but I feel that it still needs a lot of work, especially when compared with the heavy hitters like MW2 and Battlefield: Bad Company that are currently available.

I agree with him, but I wonder if the preference isn't cultural. It appears the Japanese favor JRPGs over western RPGs, and overall in Japan, there is a general disdain for "Western" games.

I loved this game back in the day, but I'm afraid it's going to look very dated if they don't plan on updating the graphics for HD televisions. The game's textures will look extremely muddy by today's standards.

Yeah, I experienced this online last night. People I were playing with were having a little fun with it and chose to only use throwing knives, which addmittedly, was a blast for a short while.

That was quite entertaining . . . and informative. I didn't know you could do any of that stuff.
