“Catching more flies with honey than vinegar” is just bullshit tone policing. Nobody’s ever been given rights by politely asking for them.

I hadn’t heard of him being diagnosed (not that I really pay attention anyway). I suspect it’s more like “well, he acts like a total asshole, and hey, he has a symptom or two that sound like bipolar, so there’s an explanation”).

I was going to say it’s also because he’s famous, but what’s he actually famous for these days? I have no idea what his last hit song was called or how long ago it was. He’s far more famous for being one of the faces of domestic violence and for being a professional troll than he is for his music these days.
