I will go to bat for the The Scions of Shannara quadrilogy though. I loved all four of those books when I was a teen and I love them all still.

The true problem was CBS and parents groups around the country. The real D&D cartoon was going to have swords and sorcery, but the network was afraid of all the affiliates banning the show so they dumbed it down and took out all of the 'sharp' things. I still love the show though… rosy 80's glasses. Ahhhhh.
Oh no! I'm worried that the ending is going to be some bait-and-switch shadoodle, especially because his sidekicks seem SOOOO handy.
KNICKERBOCKER GLORIES DICK
No shame in the Picoult enjoyment! I enjoyed "The Wonder Spot" quite a bit, but I loved "The Girls' Guide to Hunting and Fishing" more. Whatever happened to Melissa Bank?
I loved "Life After Life"! Great read!
In the middle of "Night Film" which is a pretty good thriller so far, very noirish and moody. Then it's on to lighter 'summer' fare as I have "The Vacationers", "Beautiful Ruins", and "The Teleportation Accident" queued up.
"Goldblatt welcomed to Westeros Glitterati!"
I impulsively bought a Wii U for myself 5 months ago and I fucking love it. More than my 360 right now. Go for it!
It's as good as you think, too!
If I wasn't aware before (which I wasn't), I am now. Thanks!
TOO SOON!
You didn't?
"Mommy, I pee in the bath too!"
Oh! FAH-ther!
I'm ignoring the naysayers on this one, I think it sounds like a fun idea… throw in the ability to use characters other than Mario as the hero and I'm totally down.
Summer or not: Stoli, splash of soda, lime. It works every time.
skorts!!!
Fav! Les Savy Fav! LES SAVY FAV! That's our name!!!
Totally liked for The Horrors… their new album is so fucking good!
