Honestly, doesn’t matter. No one should use Unity after this fiasco.

It’s insane that they think any amount of not walking this back 100% is going to help them. No one should ever use Unity even IF they do.

I already killed Hulu. That price increase is ridiculous especially when I already have a couple other services which offer similar things. I stopped Netflix like a year or two ago, now.

Why would anyone trust AI to give them recipes?

I’ve played a lot of NMS and let me tell you, I am FINE with there being a limit on planets in Starfield. There is absolutely no point in exploring procedurally generated planets, people. There’s never anything 1000 miles away that you won’t find 100 miles or 10 miles away because the game makes sure you can’t screw

They said they’re taking a week off to come up with the changes. They haven’t actually made any yet. The video was them acknowledging the issue and that’s all, really.

I seriously don’t know what he was thinking. Look, I’ve gotten pissed at people at work. I’m IT, I’m well aware sometimes you get a shitty client or customer. If I’m pissed, I’ll often ask a co-worker to respond for me so I don’t say something stupid if it has to be replied to immediately or at the very least, have

That’s what bugged me most. Linus’ response is easily the worst of everyone else. They all, for the most part, accepted the criticism and said they’d be better in the future. That’s fine, but most of Linus’ response was him whining about people calling him a thief.

I’m already pretty much off Twitter now, but this doesn’t even matter. You can still tell who pays because they’ll all show up at the top of replies and their opinions are usually pretty predictable.

Oh look, exactly what I said would happen is ALREADY HAPPENING. Shocker.

Seriously, the hypocrisy of these people is infuriating, which is the point, of course.

Go fuck yourself, Gym. Hypocrite piece of shit. I don’t even like Meta or Zuckerberg, but I hope they wipe the floor with your dumbass.

From what I’m reading, legal experts do think this will be a carve-out of “artists” to exempt them from anti-discrimination laws when it comes to making things for someone. So, I will grant you were correct. It doesn’t /necessarily/ have wide-reaching implications on its own.

1) Racists aren’t a protected class. So, no, you can’t make someone make a KKK website.

How is it interesting?

At least on the positive side, we will know who all the bigots are and anyone who is an ally will just not do business with them. I mean, I wouldn’t want some homophobe piece of shit doing anything for me.

Cool, so basically fuck everyone not a Christian, I guess. See how they’d rule if it were a Muslim baker refusing to do a wedding cake for a Catholic wedding.

Just like the people back in the day who claimed to be “on the last lifeboat on the Titanic” which was apparently fairly common after it went down.

Please. The only time it’s used as a “slur or an insult is when a cisgendered person is being transphobic or homophobic or if we’re generalizing those kinds of people. If you don’t do those things, then no one’s talking about you.

Cognitive dissonance at its finest.
