Is there like a Worst Comment of The Day that I can nominate the above for?
This is a touching, very well written tribute that speaks as well of the players as it does you and Kotaku.
There have been a lot of positive and impactful people in gaming this year, but there is no more correct answer to the question of Gamers of the Year than this article.
today i learnt its completely impossible to make jokes round here without someone taking it seriously
If I’m remembering correctly, blinding oncoming cars takes points off the headlight score, which is why a lot of cars several years ago with great projecting headlights still got bad headlight scores.
Also, Carrie Underwood can GTFO with that “women build up other women” shit. That’s the kind of bullshit Kellyanne Conaway tries to pull when people (rightfully) call her out for her terrible positions.
That’s like saying you can’t own a song, cause we all have voices. Can’t own a book, cause we all have fingers to write. Can’t own a game, cause can all type code. Absurd argument.
Or you could just keep your battery topped off when you charge at night, like every EV owner does 90% of the time, since the average person drives like 30 miles a day. If you’re on a road trip, waiting a half an hour to charge us no biggie as your probably gonna stop every couple of hundred miles anyway.
George, you have no idea what journalism is, what it’s history is, or how it should work. “Journalists should only report facts,” is what dumb people say when they disagree with journalists.
I miss the days when I was just a short or a Big Oil shill. Now I have to defend Univision too? Ugh.

I totally agree with you. And would be very low if it wasn’t for the bone that bungie threw out during the Halloween event. I was barely 540 going into festival of the lost. But with horror story dropping at 600 I was able to climb to 598 by thanksgiving using iron banner bounties and regular milestones.
The Horror Story boost was a god send!
Gamers in a nutshell. “We have nothing to do!! Give us content!”
They do, and everyone is absolutely shocked that you have to play the game to enjoy it. Because burning all the new content the very first night of the release is so cool, so they’re able to whine about having nothing to do the second day.
We had something…
Yeah, they are. I’m at 595, and I don’t play hardcore (an hour or two a day if I can). Keep doing anything that gives “powerful rewards” and you’ll get there.
He deserves as much respect as he gives others.
