The guy at the dealership makes his money whether the cars are returned in good condition or not. The ruined cars are VW’s loss not his.

Erm... the whole Destiny collection including vanilla, TDB, HoW, TTK and RoI has been on sale for like $30 recently... If that’s too steep of a readmission price for you, then I think there’s other reasons why Destiny isn’t a priority game for you.

I was in love until I saw the center display. I hate that look and don’t get why anyone would like it and why luxury brands are doing that. It looks like the engineers said, “Oh shit we forgot the center display, let’s just stick a $99 no-name tablet on the dash and call it good.”

And yet he didn’t hit anything or kill anyone. So lets focus on the real asshole, Mr. Stang.

They’re not all the same minority, so yes. Asian is a massive oversimplified label to begin with.

Destiny isn’t even close to a “wasteland.” I really wish Bungie would just release active user stats to put those statements to rest. You can often tell how healthy a game is by it’s subreddit activity, and /r/DestinytheGame still has posts with thousands of votes on a regular basis. You only see that kind of activity

Not caring about much outside of your experience is a given. But Americans seem uniquely predisposed to comment on or even act on things they they don’t fully comprehend.

I was about to ask, “how stupid are people to think that the KKK, an American created hate group would export its rituals and costumes to Sweden?” But then I thought for .5 seconds and remembered, people are pretty stupid.

i assume you’re joking? I honestly can’t tell any more

so we can make shit go faster than it did stock. next question?

Toyota behind the curve? Not hardly. Toyota is about to make a ballistic entry into the front of the curve - they’re going to come leaping over the guardrail from Low Earth Orbit and shock the hell out of everyone. And you should absolutely not be shocked when it happens.

True. I should have said we overemphasize college in general. We’ve always had the jokes about a philosophy degree getting you a job as a waiter, but STEM was always a safe bet. Now like you said, even a STEM degree may not be in demand (depending on the field).

I feel like if the US started emphasizing technical/professional and skilled trades paths in school, rather than trying to implement protectionist measures, the country would be better off in the long run. But nobody wants to tell art students or high school dropouts who rely on these low paying jobs that?

And many Americans don’t want to actually have to do work to retrain themselves or acquire new skills. Just as they expected Obama to magically create good paying jobs for them, they will expect Trump to do the same. And they will be disappointed, again. Because that’s not how the world works.

I have read a number of articles about the looming shortage of skilled trades people — electricians, plumbers, etc. You can make a nice living doing that.

I myself am worried about impeller cavitation.

“Think about how many things you might be spending $500 a month on: weekend bar-hopping, clothes-shopping,”

Yes, with the additional hassle of buying and selling them, plus the taxes.
