Think 8500 rpm in a lightweight vehicle is also fun. I’m not sure how much extra torque would help considering the single rear wheel.

Vancouverites are unable to mind their own damn business, but I would say that Toronto is pretty high on the asshole list. Driving quality is also poor, exacerbated by way too many cars on the road.
Alanis King? I think you’re confusing her car reviews with Kristen, since Alanis did the Redeye review and liked it, but almost every other musclecar was done by Kristen. Same with racing- most of those posts are written by Elizabeth.
That is a sentiment from 2014. Wages have been increasing as unemployment drops, and minimum wages have been pushed up (which further pushes up overall wages).
This only seems to work if you’re willing to highly leverage yourself in the real estate market. You can make some pretty big returns, but things like closing costs, maintenance and such can eat into your costs, and actually be a pain in the ass if you rent out.
Hi, it me, teh interwebz. Today I’m making twice what I did 10 years ago, but I stayed in the same career, stayed in my comfort zone, and refuse to work my ass off outside of 40 hours a week. It’s called “looking for a new job every 2-3 years”.
Honda has huge EV battery supply contracts in places like China, where ICEs are being legislated out of existence. That doesn’t mean ICE hybrids won’t be popular in other parts of the world like the US, SE Asia and the like. That’s the full context of Hachigos quote, they’re putting a ton of R and D into EVs but that…
Toyota in the USA is not actually all that great in CAFE since they also sell a ton of trucks. The last line that was quoted in the article is that R and D in EVs is continuing, and Honda typically has one of the bigger R and D budgets as a percentage of profits.
In that exact same video, the Porsche is only about two hundred pounds more than the Tesla. Probably not emphasized but more to the point, the Porsche has less ‘useable’ battery capacity because it blocks off some of that in the name of longevity. Problem is that this in itself accounts for a loss of maybe (looking at…
Looking at the age gap between the two generations at this point (54-72 years old vs 23-38), it is highly unlikely at this point that many boomers ‘know and want’ to fix shit. Most millennials and gen X moved into that age group of 'know and want'. I think you are thinking of gen Z. Boomer.
You joke, but the double bed pickup would have been a way better idea than Tesla's cybertruck. Should have gone to the patent office
It’s for the Linear Fusion pinnacle... er... ritual weapon. That being said, Arbalest is not actually that great of a gun, compared to snipers. You’ll see it go away shortly after everyone gets their weapon.
Just FYI, the road is not actually that dark. Uber released that video. If you were to drive that exact road in Tempe, Arizona, you would see it’s actually quite well lit.
To be clear, I don’t really have an opinion of my own at this point on the Supra/Z4 being essentially variants of the same car; I’m only stating a fact and why that fact might be causing other enthusiasts grief.
To add, I don’t have any personal opinions on the Supra at this point, it’s a car that escapes my car enthusiast consciousness unless it randomly pops up in conversation =)

Right, people are not thrown from the car, they just fly unrestrained at 50 mph+ about the cabin and its hard surfaces, while said airbag can only operate in spot in the cabin. Before seatbelts, people were extremely safe and nobody died from not being strapped in? What you’re saying doesn’t even begin to make logical…
It’s not just the engine. The entire package is a variant of the BMW X4. That's about where all the 'hate' comes from.
I’ll be honest, I wasn't sure it’s worth responding to your comment, because the video you posted pretty obviously shows the occupant’s head and upper body accelerating into the airbag. Are you trolling? It shouldn’t take a galaxy brain to see that the reason the bag works is because of the way the occupant hits it…
Yes. They’re supposed to work as a system. The air bags are meant to slow down the acceleration of parts of your body that isn’t strapped into your seat, said airbag doesn’t do anything if your body decides to fly out the windshield.
