Yeah, I think it depends on the genre — obviously a game that relies on a persistent world needs continuous online support. But for something like MK11, I’ve seen fans whine about “DEAD GAME”, and it’s like:

I maintain that Mario Kart 8 is, bizarrely, one of the best examples of a multiplayer focused, post launch supported game in the current era. While obviously it’s now receiving a massive content injection, initially it just released like four map packs and then coasted for 8 years on just that and a re-release that

I really don’t understand the obsession some people have with cosmetic damage in sim games. The entire point is just enjoy racing and not to crash into stuff like a 5 year old. It’s the equivalent of someone getting all honked off because crashing a 737 in MS Flight Simulator doesn’t leave a crater and spread bits

A few things to note about this deal:

MK8 GTI/R’s infotainment/HVAC interface.

Tesla Model 3. I like the size, the price, the exterior styling, and could, I guess, live with the interior. I can afford it, and in 2 or 3 years will likely be looking for something electric. But the company owner is a deal breaking flaw for me (and especially my wife).

Chevy Volt, the rear seat was just too small - I’m sure it was a dealbreaker for a lot of potential buyers.

Yea it’s a weird position to take considering they aren’t even rated in the top three level 2 systems, let alone anything close to level 3.

We don’t even know who would be a distant second. I don’t think you can see second place with a telescope.

If someone with ‘foot’ in their name doesn’t get it, I’m not going to bother wondering why I don’t get it either.

A better driver on a short course with a slow car can beat a worse driver in a faster car on a short course with no trouble at all. Happens all the time in autocross, which I assume this effectively was. I beat Corvettes with my Spitfire on several occasions - Mario Andretti behind the wheel I am better than the old

It’s not like it was the car’s fault or even his driving.

They’re Racing sims, not crash sims.

These games continue to get caught up in the “be as realistic as iRacing” fervor, when simply making the games more accessibly fun would be an improvement. I don’t give a rat’s ass that your physics engine will lessen my left rear tire grip by 8% while cornering on a 38 degree turn with a 15 knot crosswind. That

So much this, much like the members of Slipknot we have seen their faces a LONG time ago.

That's Guy-Man Man Christ to you, sir.

As someone else living with a human face, I appreciate their bravery. For too long have we had to hide behind weird sci-fi masks.

He’s definitely not a robot. His name is Bang Alter. However this Guy-Man seems suspicious enough.

Pictures of Daft Punk without their helmets have actually been around for a very long time.

You know what would be an absolutely killer feature for these controllers? A device switcher. Something that lets you swap between Console and iPad and PC or something like that. A lot of Logitech mice and keyboards have that functionality now and it’s such a game-changer. These controllers are being marketed as the
