I love Daisy, too! I loved her storyline with coming to terms with how she felt about being a war widow, and her developing relationship with William's father. It was sweet, then he offered to give her the farm and I guess she just didn't go back there? Ever again? She just hung around the kitchen and wished some

Regardless of those celebrating its closure..... the people who work in theater know that their job can end at any moment. All shows close. It's the nature of the business. As such, I can't and won't feel sorry for those who lose their jobs when a show finishes its run. I'm very glad that they got to take part

Any musical called Bullets Over Broadway is just asking to flop. I would have preferred a Producers scenario where Woody wanted it to flop and gave it that name on purpose, it turned out to be an unexpected hit, all the performers and crew made bank, and Woody lost a ton of money and ended up in jail.

I think it's pretty obvious that no one's cheering on the loss of jobs for minimum wage workers. It's pretty rude of you to assume so. Also, that's not what your comment said. What you said was that anyone who was happy that the show was closing was an asshole. That's just not true.

Starting your comment with "uh," or "um," is a tell about what is going to follow.

Nah, as an actor I thought about that. That's the life of theater though. Thought you would know that, there is no such thing as a permanent gig.

It's particularly tough because they were all forced into this line of work too. Maybe someday we'll end slavery. Maybe someday.

We're not happy that a bunch of people lost their jobs, we're happy that one of the many ventures of an unpunished child molester was unsuccessful. There's good in bad and bad in good. You can celebrate one bit while regretting the other, and they don't cancel each other out, either.

Though I'm sure my take would be different having seen it, I will say that the thought of Woody Allen + musical is odd. One is so understated and the other is so not.

Three whole months without masturbating?!?!? Jeez, I'll be lucky if I make it through writing this com

The whole premise of the show was that in the 20th century an old family is burdened/saved by having a Manchester solicitor become the sole heir. That was the most exciting and fruitful source of tension in the show! Now it's just gratuitous rapes and Bates turning out to be the murderer we all knew he was the whole

I do hope the Doctor's potential romance with Isobel is revisited this time around. It was sadly interrupted by real-life events during filming last year (David Robb's wife committed suicide and he took leave from the show). He and Penelope Wilton had a nice spark, I thought.

Agree to disagree, I LOVE EDITH. She is so snarky and interesting.

Rumors are that Edith is Rosemund's daughter and that storyline will play out in season 5. Also, Edith, after Cora and bates is simply the worst chracter on the show.

Fellowes will likely never do what is necessary to salvage the show but if he were to try, it should start with back-burnering Mary (no one cares), showcasing more Edith and for the love of god, getting rid of that wad of douche, Bates. I don't know who told Fellowes that women would find a creepy, violent,

Oh, but what of Edith's secret bastard neighbor baby?

I AM SO BORED BY THE BATESES. NO MORE BATESES.

"I think this year, she's quite impulsive," Dockery said. "She's embracing her new life, really. … She's got a bit of her bite back."
