I think 1st birthday parties are good for getting family and friends together to see how much the kid has grown, but all it calls for cake and some barbecue at most, and maybe a party dress and a hat for the birthday baby so you'll have cute pics later.

They invited Blue Ivy to the party, but Blue declined citing reasons such as "I don't go to sponsored birthdays" and "Days are for brunching, nights are for parties".

It's not like she's going to stop being Katie Couric.

It's pretty weird to call out Khloe for being disrespectful to Native American culture and call them "hairy gypsies" in the same sentence.

Do parents teach their kids shame necessarily or does it eventually just sink in that hey, I'm the only naked one here? I'm not a parent, but it seems like the natural evolution is that once you teach a kid that "big kids" can dress themselves, they start to not want their parents to help them, and then they develop a

You actually read that way wrong. The OP's use of enjoy refers to the child being able to enjoy themselves being nude, which is true- it's the only time taking off your clothes because you're hot or itchy, or it's too tight or you just don't want to wear clothes is a purely innocent move on your part. It's pre shame

Um what? She's exceptionally beautiful. The original post didn't single her out for being black or even say that "she's pretty for a black girl" BS. I'm black, and I get this that this girl is striking because not all people - black, white, or in between- have bone structure or facial proportions like that.

Actually it's white people- mostly white male suburban youths- that prop up the rap industry.

They're so beautiful, but I don't think I could actually *be* with someone so beautiful. I would just kind of stand there going "urghggggghghghggg" and turning red.

No, Detroit, but my sister moved to Minnesota making a Duck Duck Grey Duck vs Duck Duck Goose thing spring up in our family.

huh. Is the fact that district 12 the only one with a child some sort of miner/minor visual pun?

The problem is that these women were being abused IN prison as well, this time by people who wanted them sterile. The fear is that they can still be coerced by people into making a decision. A choice made through fear of one abuser or coercion by another abuser is not a true choice. So basically it comes down to the

The Tuskegee experiment.

As far as dating goes, my inability to attract guys took care of that for them. Which is probably why they got rid of my curfew by prom!

But not all, or all types, Panem is already smaller than the US and the districts don't overlap.

True- my bias as a Detroit native is showing, thinking that transportation = making cars.

Not all the districts were given distinct things in the books. I think the movies locked down what each one is like and how big it is. I'm going to suppose that the transportation district is somewhere around Detroit/Flint, but I don't understand how having just one district do livestock works. No wonder everyone's

She should be playing Nefertiti in a movie.

Mr. Livestock isn't looking too great, they might not care. Plus the "Capitol" would love to put a willowy frail Radium girl in an ad.

Thank you! I didn't look it up because I was sure my brain would work it out eventually. Unfortunately all I could remember was that it was two words and the first one had a C so I kept thinking "that sexy teen movie: Cystic Fibrosis".
