Nah, any emotional distressed is coupled with the fact that the situation was partly influenced by her falling asleep and forgetting to pick up her child. I'd think her best bet would be being thankful her child was ok, finding a new day care, and moving on.

IT MAKES ME WANNA FART!

But whichever one you choose, they'll actually go by Stormageddon.

Or unless she's doing one of those "just taking a picture of myself and not the famous person in the background, nope not me, I'm cool" moves.

That was the dumbest point. He was smiling at his horse. Bad guys can't have pets?

That I don't mind. I'd take the smugness of someone who sees two idiots arguing and laughs over the smugness of the two arguing idiots.

Read my comments. I'm not even religious.

Omg. I'm not saying atheists should be humble. I'm pointing out that tying intellectual humility to atheists is false, as all the comments saying "Why should we be humble!!!!?!?!?" can attest to.

I know people love to frame atheism as being only in opposition to Christianity, but it's not. Pagan beliefs are beliefs too, and atheists are not pagans. Not to say that you're not allowed to celebrate, but it's history is still religious, just not the religion that's a big one to this day.

Accepted! You may now marry any family member you see fit, including my sister who is already married.

Doesn't matter if you should or shouldn't be proud- the point that atheists are intellectually humble is laughable. Your response is another example of that. The fact that atheists are proud is whatever. The fact that the OP thinks that humility is a trait inherent to atheists is just as made up a reason as religious

I like your point, but I have to laugh at the idea of atheists as the poster children for intellectual humility. Half of them in this comment section alone counter any talk of religion with how much smarter, more logical, and more rational they are than everybody else. Atheism and being humble don't exactly go

What denomination are they? In my experience that is not what Christenings are. At all.

Isn't that the best angle on your stomach? I literally have a body by Ben & Jerry's but my stomach looks flat and smooth when I'm lying down. Add a tan on top of that and I can see it.

Ugh, of COURSE an atheist wouldn't recognize that the Dalek belongs at the top of the tree. Gizmo? You can marry a lesser cousin, but my immediate family is reserved for atheists who at least recognize the supremacy of Doctor Who.

My uncle was a Mormon convert and we couldn't attend his wedding either. We were invited to the reception, where all the Mormons who were allowed to go kept talking about how beautiful the ceremony was to each other, while I, being a snotty teenager at the time, kept rolling my eyes at the fact that he and his bride

That whole family. They all look within 10 years of each other.

YOU HAVE A DALEK TREE TOPPER?!?!?!

The rise? America has been this way. We're getting consistently better, not worse. The only difference is we have more news outlets and studies and technology means we can be both more vocal and that we can learn about what's happening in other parts of the country more consistently. America has been religious since

The upside to your relative marrying an atheist is that if you hate them, you don't actually have to see them at Christmas anyway. And you'll save money on gifts. It's a win, really.
