Dealer offered me $2500 for my wife’s car. I listed it for $6200 on Craigslist, had three people want to buy it. Sold for $6000 cash in three days
The car had one pervious owner
NOM NOM NOM NOM NOM!!!!!
You know those places around town that become the spot that end up being the for sale by owner lots over the weekend. Drove by one that had a perfect black unmarked CV sitting in it. I drove by slow looking for the sign in the window. The cop sitting inside of it looked at me funny and my wife is like ‘WTF are you…
Used Subaru pricing gets weird. When we were looking for my wife’s car, 2-3 year old Legacies were going for about 2k less than a new Legacy. With the discounts we got on the new one, it was break even, so we went new.
If VW is anything like Audi, they won’t budge on the price. My brother has leased 5 Audis and a couple of times I asked about buying it at lease end for less than the contract price and their response was “Nein.”
Given the discounts on new ones and the pricing pressure on used ones, I really see very, very little point in buying a nearly new car. Buy new, or buy fully depreciated, the in-between rarely makes sense.
How is everyone supposed to know how great I’m doing like that? I need a 3 year old, off-lease, base 3-series to let everyone know I’m better than them.
Rebuilt by a Jalop, better than from the factory
First glance “An AMG for 7500$? Scam.
Yeah I bought a 08 328xi touring for $10k last year, very low miles and clean. The dodge dealer I bought it from offered a 30 warranty, the day I took it home it had a very slight misfire at idle. Dealer couldn’t service it, they gave me a loaner and had it between 2 different BMW dealers for 22 days total. They…
Why buy a 9 year old Mercedes with 140,000 miles when you could literally do anything else with $7500 and probably come out further ahead?
One that wants to perform a Dribble Axel at the competition.
Psh, Koenigsegg decided to bring it back in a modern car.
Your friend didn’t have a first gen Aurora with a V6 because they didn’t make one. The v6 came in 2000. And the fact you confused the Alero and Aurora confirms to me that you have no idea what you are talking about. NP. This is a good car.
I’ve already forgotten what car I just voted against.
Survived.
Same. $25 a month.
“You’d rather accidentally lock than accidentally unlock.”
Spoken like somebody who’s never had to break into a car they accidentally locked the keys in with the engine running.
