My good friend deals in late 90's early 2000's Bimmers. He has 2 of these - one V8 and one V12. He has spent a fortune just trying get one running and trying to keep the other one on the road... you are correct, the repair costs will drive a man to his grave.

Fun fact: The exhaust is made from a special inconel-titanium alloy (used in light filaments) for weight reduction and heat expulsion. The exhaust system was more expensive than the entire S70/2 BMW V12.
