Yep - still no different to Caitlyn Jenner.

It’s been X number of days now, and a rational distinction between Rachel Dolezal and Caitlyn Jenner has yet to be found.

Replace every word you used in respect of race with sex, and the same arguments apply. You say ‘gender does not matter because of sexism’ - no, but it does matter because of sex. i.e. the precise biological components which trans women do not have.

Exactly how a lot of women feel about Caitlyn Jenner, though.

The only biological ‘bit’ of femaleness is precisely that ‘bit’ which trans women do not have. There is no intelligible distinction you can draw between these two examples. And merely asserting “it’s transphobic” is not good enough.

I find it a little disturbing how easily a woman’s article - which resonated with so many women, and found almost unanimous support in the comments - can be dismissed as “feelings masquerading as thoughts”.

When I was at university (UK), undergraduate-professor relationships simply weren’t done. You didn’t need a code about it, it was simply universally recognised as inappropriate. The one example I knew of in my faculty, the lecturer concerned wasn’t disciplined at all, but simply became the laughing stock of the

Gold diggers don’t study law at Oxford, and then go into ... human rights and international law. Where you earn fuck all while all your ex-classmates who didn’t do badly in their exams and who went into commercial law can earn £100k+ within five years of qualifying - many of them even sooner.

What a babe. And looks better without the make up, in my view...

Honestly, this is what gets me. Why the fuck is she getting all the hate, when her husband joined right in?

... Uh ...

Dude. Get a life.

She probably just meant 'and' as a colloquial equivalent of 'slash'. She's not an idiot.

Woah dude. In the USA maybe. In the UK? Nope. Grime has had mainstream visibility for a long time.

I'm a queer woman. As far as the queer community is concerned, I agree with Arquette 100%. You don't think there's a tendency for LGBT rights to become equated with 'rights for rich white men who happen to be gay'? Then you're not paying attention. She's absolutely correct to call this out.

I'm a gay woman. I can 100% say that - as far as the gay community is concerned anyway - she is absolutely correct to call it out and ask it to support women. I'm not the only queer woman who has been incredibly frustrated over the years by the tendency including by those within our community to equate 'LGBT rights'

I'm 100% average weight, and yeah. She is plus-sized.

No, he doesn't.

I don't necessarily agree with the suggestion (as some people commenting do) that this is a matter of innate biology, hard-wired into men's brains that they find it impossible to care about women. But as a social fact, yeah I say 'no shit' to this headline. Jezebel reports all the time on real-life differences caused

Amen. As friends, family members, co-workers - fine. But not gonna lie, from all the shit I hear from friends about their relationships, part of me is fucking relieved to never have to deal with a man as a significant other.
