I feel ya. I genuinely cried a couple of months ago, because I was so stressed with work, I was in a really bad mood, all I wanted was an Earl Grey tea from Caffe Nero to calm down. They gave me a green tea. I didn't realise until I went upstairs and then it was too late (I felt) to ask them to change it. It was the

Australian currency and in kgs, that's almost the same price.

This story is interesting because it's like the kind of crazy tale that you would hear being told in the pub one evening, but by the other people in the apartment. Not the hero of the story himself. Especially the 'you have no idea who you are messing with' part.

Yep, as a Brit, I hold the door open for everyone and I'm pretty sure everyone holds the door open for me, gender being irrelevant - it's just the 'done thing'. Must be an American issue ...

My emotional response when reading this - and then when reading online about this 'bimbofication' fetish and the kind of men who find this attractive - was akin to the feeling I got when I was reading that article about that man who was planning on cooking and eating a woman, and there was that cartoon.

"Miley Cyrus put a fan's thong in her mouth after it was thrown on stage."

She's almost certainly lying.

Right, so women fearing violence from men is the same as white people fearing violence from black people? Give me a break. (i) the overwhelming majority of violence is perpetrated by men - not the case between white and black people; (ii) men have a dramatic physical advantage over women. Not the case between

Oh come on, that is ridiculous. I am gay, and I fully recognise that being straight is the 'normal' state that people are. When you have almost entirely the population meeting one particular characteristic (being cis-gendered), and only a tiny fraction of people deviating from that, you can call the former

So, he's just another celebrity who is trying to ride off the cultural status of other work to increase his own perceived 'legitimacy' as a 'cool person' who 'gets it'.

Ok - but what I'm asking is, how does the medical diagnosis undermine the reasons for wanting to put people who are biologically male in a separate prison to women? The (i) fear of violence, or (ii) potential religious reasons.

Okay - question: do you think it would be unreasonable for a man to be placed with other women in a prison? If so, why? I am genuinely curious, because my instinct is that gender segregation is to either (i) protect women from potential male violence or fear of violence, or (ii) potentially for religious reasons - is

No matter how 'gaunt' she is (and she isn't .. she looks absolutely fine) ... chances are she's still healthier than she was when she was obese.

Really? Because I've watched Jillian Michaels loads and she always makes sure to say that the important thing is to be healthy, not to be thin.

Am I the only one who doesn't think she looks that bad? Maybe it's because of the age group I'm in, but I'm looking around me, in this university library, and I can see at least two people who are approximately that thin. If I saw somebody who was as thin as her walking down the street, I wouldn't bat an eyelid. One

I have retched before at a close up photo of it.

Your friend is a piece of shit.

She should not be tried as an adult. She isn't one.

This is why cats terrify me. They can be vicious creatures.

Ok, I agree with what you say, but I don't think it does the debate any great service by saying "rape and sex have very little to do with each other". Given that rape IS sex under certain conditions (absence of consent), it just comes across as though you're not realistically engaged in the discussion. Just sayin'.
