Well, at least this explains the wild celebrations among the umpire crew every time a pitcher struck out the side.

Holy crap! I knew he was sleeping in tight accommodations on the lower East side, but I just assumed his brother's place was west of FDR.

"Whew! Finally a Brady in-law who isn't prone to taking wild swings."

Oh come on. You can't expect Tim Peel to penalize intentionally tripping any more than you can ask George Pie to flag a face-mask.

Well, I know that Welker is integral to their offense and, given that he and Brady have had years to work out perfect timing, he can't just be replaced.

Does Belichick have it in him to take a premier skill player? I honestly wonder if, at some level, his ego is attached to "the system" and, other than Brady, he'd prefer not to have a superstar take that away. It has to tickle him that their best players (Gronk, Welker, B-J-G-E) are people no one thought much of

San Fran definitely isn't getting the respect yet - 20/1, behind San Diego? I assume it is the Alex Smith factor - everyone wants to see if he made a one-year deal with the devil. If he plays well or even (gasp) steps up another level, they will be very scary.

Another year with Wade running the defense (and likely Mario Williams back), the best O'line/running game in the league and (presumably) Schaub and Johnson healthy with stated priority of picking a WR 1st in the draft? I don't think they will win the Super

Given the bid history, I'm a bit suspicious....

"Fuck. There went my credibility"

I wouldn’t worry. They may be hostile outsiders now, but if experience is any guide it should only take a year or two before they are converted and never want to leave Washington.
