You just KNOW CW execs were just licking their chops, drooling at the chance to interject some of the standard CW troupes into their relationship. They damn near wet themselves tonight.

The "Battle of the Minds" between Jonn & the Telepath was epic. I was kinda hoping after J'onn defeated him that his brain would explode and start oozing goop.

Hate him or love him, the dude drops some sweet one-liners. That's the type of Mon-El the show needs. Not the one bogged down in constant drama. It feels like basically everything that has to do with him and Kara leads to problems, one way or another. The light-hearted Mon-El is much better.

The worst has to be The oh my God, the main character is totally dead trope, Total waste of a story line because NO ONE believe any show would kill of its main character outside of a SERIES FINALE.
