Nervous reaction perhaps?

I'm curious if he made any of those himself. I think I remember seeing that he does some blacksmith stuff on the side.

Why does marketing seem to be such an issue lately? Sony can't market for anything these days and Nintendo really isn't doing justice to their new console by the way they marketed it. They didn't even market it that much. It's like they just figure everyone will know because they have the internet.

Final Fantasy 9 - Ice Cavern

In my mind it's sorta like this:

Say what you want. I just think it's cool that Chrono Trigger is still relevant to people.

They should create the rest of the remakes and make another portable title to keep people busy until the next installment. This is a perfect time to do remakes of 2 - 3 and see how people react to them. It would only make them feel better about a reboot or a path back to the roots of the series.

I think he's got a lot of potential as a director. Moon was a great movie and Source Code wasn't so bad either. Wish he'd stick with original sci-fi stuff rather than Warcraft though.

Do you know what date the next Nintendo Direct is?

I don't see how that matters for this example. All I'm saying is there would be no reason at all for Kojima to approach Platinum with a game based on Policenauts or Snatcher. Given the combat style Raiden has, it made sense for him to even do it in the first place.

Why would Platinum even consider touching Policenauts or Snatcher? If they did your argument against MGR would be the same for those games as well.

Great game

Since you have such a short amount of time definitely go with Game Maker or an equivalent. I'd create a super simple game with some sort of hook and run with it. Don't worry about a team with a small project like this as that can be disastrous like you said with the feature creep issue you had. In my opinion I think

Different methods for different people/teams. As long as you're creating some sort of documentation that's easy to follow then you're winning. I do agree with a quick prototype of some sort that is iterated on though, that should be essential to pre pro.

I was pleasantly surprised when my friend and I were looking this game up when it came out and saw that. All you need is a means to an end. If that fits in the parameters of Game Maker or any other equivalent then it's not something to put your nose up at.

It seems like a poor design choice, but if these are the people they want to bring in then they have to make it that obvious I suppose.

Good luck to Relic and Sega! Both a fine publisher and developer.

This is a rip off, but a fun looking rip off.

This article at IGN has a lot more info: http://www.ign.com/articles/2013/01/22/resident-evil-revelations-coming-to-consoles?abthid=50febe158afce3265c000047

This is great news! I don't own a 3DS and have been silently mad at myself for getting a Vita (which I still love) because the 3DS exclusives are so good. I'm excited to finally play this after being disappointed with Resident Evil for so long.
