I was thinking if I started a protest while I was at work for a political agenda it would be grounds for termantion. What employer is going to pay someone to do that, whether it be a mom-and-pop’s store or the NFL.

I don’t think the owner would be wrong for firing him. Imagine if everyone at their work started to protest on the clock. I know my employer would be pissed and probably fire me if I used work time to carry out my political agenda. I don’t think what Trump said was bad if only it had come from someone else.

True but somewhere in the NFL rule book there is a clause that states they must stand, which is just one of the reasons people are upset, among so many.
