I’m waiting for the Ryan Renolds “but why” gif.

Interesting. Growing up playing with R/C cars, I remember having to use, discharge and charge a certain way. Li-Pos came along and they were a game changer. I know baterires have come a long way but I’m still a skeptic.
Yes, thank you.
Beat me to it. I should’ve read the rest of the comment section before posting.
Those as seen on tv adds have had something like this for years.
That’s genius, I always thought the standard family would really only need one, maybe two cars if it could drive itself back home to be used by other family memebers but to self charge like those wireless cell chargers...now were on to something.
This was a generalization of people (mostly backsliders) wanting to make a quick buck at the cost of someone else. Thank you for informing me of the Mcdonlads incident, I can now sleep at night because you took this way too far, lol
Ah yes, I remember those. Was that a truck that dodge re-badge?
Wow! I’m pleasantly surprised to hear that. Is the tech into tesla batteries that much different from any of the other hybrid batteries? What’s the life span of a Prius battery? Maybe there is hope for me to become a believer.
Maybe so, but quick-charging a battery certainly takes a toll on the life span of the battery. Also, I highly doubt it will happen and is probably just wishful thinking.
Yes, that could work. Never owning the battery but able to just swap out, kind of like a Redbox for DVD rentals, for those that still remember Redbox.
I agree. I don’t expect to have a Tesla model 3 for Nissan Leaf kind of money but I’m lot ready to plop 40k on the unknown.
It doesn’t have to be a hybrid but I figure by the time fully autonomous is legal hybrids or E tech will be on par.
Reading this made me feel all warm and gooey inside...in a bro-way of course, then weirdly I thought of the seen in the movie “the departed” where Alec Baldwin is happy he had the cameras spying on the bad guys and start chanting “patriot act”. How strange is that?
Hmmm, not sure. How can I clarify? I’ll try to get a little deeper. Hybrids still have a stigma for the masses even though we know we can use hybrid technology to make cars faster. While there are people that just look at the mpg figure to base their decision making, most don’t mind having a regular ol’ Camry or CX-5.
Yeah, norton seemed to experiment with the rotor more than others on motorcycles.
Mazda can really do no wrong in the way their line-up looks.
In short, to bring back a rotary.
Very good point. Standardized battery we could just swap out seems to be all the talk these days.
I believe that’s hybrids still don’t have the fandom for the average person to choose a hybrid over the traditional combustion engine and as long as it’s here to stay they may as well improve it.
