Talgo train-sets have wheel-loading similar to other passenger coaches, because each coach is shorter, lower, and made from aluminum and composites. I’ve had it explained to me a hundred times but I can’t get over how odd the single axle articulation of Talgo trainsets looks. 

I would rather find things I love doing that are less likely to kill me...

Guardrails and barriers are not kind to motorcyclists either... and the course is so long that is impractical.  I think limiting them to 500cc would be a place to start.
