If you say so
My wife and I are looking at a Hyundai Santa Fe (not sport) right now because she doesn’t want a minivan. We live in Colorado and use our little RAV4 for various low traction scenarios often enough that the crossover isn’t totally unjustified (although ironically our lowest traction outing occurred in West Texas).
If ever there was a candidate for crowd funding...
I feel like the BMW needs a “soon” meme, except of course that it’s backwards.
D’oh!
Hear hear in defense of culinary professionalism. My wife and I went to a restaurant with a honest-to-God French trained chef: potatoes, green beans and over baked chicken. Nothing “fancy” about them, just done by a true professional. It was an emotional experience; they were that good.
I think those people are akin to people who buy xboxs and then sell them on ebay for a profit. They’ve prevented the item from being enjoyed in the way intended for material gain. It’s a dick move in both cases.
150 miles: fuck that guy.
A few actually. They weren’t bad because of Saturn, they were bad because of GM. Most Saturns were just badge engineered versions of other makes (esp stuff from overseas).
No, the culture of the others was toxic. GM needed to kill off all its brands except Cadillac, Saturn and Chevy (although Buick for China would have been ok).
Saturn is the great tragedy of the American auto industryof the past 40 years. Incredibly innovative beginnings hamstrung by an industry that is... awful
Can we put this thing in an airplane? Please? I want to take it to the Reno air races.
I would think you could make a modern version that could though. If they can make a smart car that can...
Needs moar Pikes Peak unlimited cars
You do realize that the actual construction of the car is a tiny fraction of that right? No, of course you don’t.
The Chiron is 2.65 million, the Aston Martin Valkyrie is 3 million, the konigsegg Regera is 1.9 million. And all of them have absurd maintenance requirements ($30000 for a set of tires), depend on a plethora of active system and are ridiculously overpowered. Try and put a 1500hp+ 2400 lb car with 1000 lbs of down…
Banning hybrids and mandating a single fuel would do all this much more easily than stupid restrictive rules
Uh, aren’t current hypercars just as expensive? 2 million a pop before it’s even race prepped, not including support, development and parts isn’t cheap. At all.
In this case, the issue came to a head (IMHO) when hybrids were allowed (maybe even diesels). Reason being that restrictor plates are supposed to serve as a disincentive to companies spending a gazillion dollars on engines by effectively limiting the horsepower that can be made. Hybrids killed this balance and thereby…
Lol. The place the guy comes out of is a “Bia Hoi”: similar to a pub, except with cheap, watery beer. Probably not where he was supposed to be hanging out when off duty.
