Man, watching this is just sad.

Concussing the other catcher? That’s a plunking.

Make web pages that hyperlink their names to this article, like Dan Savage(‘s friends and readers to the tune of millions) did with “santorum” and his website.

You wanted to (leave them there).

I just want to say I have a huge amount of respect for how strongly Deadspin has committed to covering the Women’s World Cup. I think it’s a wonderful tournament that deserves far more attention than it is currently getting. It’s making it a little easier to deal with your insufferable takes on VAR ;)

It’s incredible to me how much INXS seems to have fallen off the map since he died. They were absolutely one of the biggest bands of their era, and completely deserved it. Yet I very seldom hear them played while terrible 90s contemporaries get constant airtime.

A bully knows that he’ll be found out, that it can’t go on like this precisely because the command and mastery that could make his dominance last are nowhere to be found under all the blustering show; a bully knows that there is nothing holding any of this up. This is why he fights. You would have to be desperate (or

My son was carrying a plate of lasagna next to our new couch while watching the TV. The helplessness and dread I felt as I watched it slide off his plate onto the new furniture in slow motion is the same I felt watching that clip.

I like Bryce Harper and all, but given his career, I don’t think anyone should be remotely surprised by his production so far, and it’s not unreasonable to suspect that this is pretty much him as a player.  I still think he’ll make the Phillies better over the next few years, and I’m happy to have him.  But I can’t

Yep, terrible move letting Harper go with his .240 batting average

You sound like you are the perfect buyer for their IPO stock.  Go for it

Rail = rail.

“No one’s ever really gone.”

Here is the cash grab example I always use. The cost to park during the last season at Shea Stadium was $10 per car. The cost the next season, the first at Citi Field, was $20 per car, now up to $25. A 100% increase to park in the same fucking lot.

A bag ban would be long term detrimental to MLB.

Ichiro is my favorite player who has never played for my team and it’s not even close.

That’s all over, you.
