To be fair...a lot of people appreciated Master of None when it originally aired (including Asian Americans & non-white LGBTQ+ folks). Even the episode with the deaf cast was a standout....I was thinking about that episode the other day.

I’ve been pulled over 5 times in my life (mid 40s now). Three of them, the officer implied I could get out of the ticket if I was willing to “help him out” - while gesturing broadly to his genitals. During one of those stops, the officer had another officer with him.

That is absolutely terrifying. I’m so sorry that cop did that to you and treated you that way.

I’m still trying to picture what I would do in a situation like this. You can see a cop murdering someone in front of your eyes, but you’re not supposed to interfere. So instead, I guess I’m just supposed to record a man dying, and then hope the justice system prevails?

I believe that ACLU or similar org used to have an app that automatically uploaded video upon stop record to protect against police taking your phone and deleting. Whatever the latest/best versions of that are today, could be good to link in future articles.

If the Pinky Glove douchebags (word choice intended) really want to make money off of down-there hygiene issues, I suggest they get to work on a men’s portable butthole vacuum -- no more skidmarks! Guys’ wives and girlfriends would buy the hell out of those. 

I think the boneheaded men who dreamed this up are just afraid you might contaminate the sandwich they expect you to make with your nasty lady blood. They don’t realize women wash their hands when they’re done in the bathroom, unlike the legions of men who don’t.

Agree, I think at home or even in public restrooms, I would wrap my used ones in toilet paper or a tissue, and put it in the little bin or the waste basket.

If that is an issue with a woman, wouldn’t latex gloves suffice? I don’t know if that would impair the ability to grab whatever is necessary to get the tampon out, but come the fuck on.
