Games don't need to be immersive, they're just better if they are.

@FourOhOne: They should have asked if they would buy a 3DTV if it didn't cost 4 times as much as a regular LED

@MRMATT: ArmA 2 is realistic, but it's boring. The strategy required is great, but the game never feels intense.

@burninfidels: First one is Halo: Reach. Second one looks like it could be the Ghost Recon trailer.

@hagren: Would have been cool if that same music hadn't been used in the 300 trailer :\

Am I the only one who immediately thought of video game level design?

@Elegbara: Bullies are insecure. They think: "omg I don't want my friends to think I'm gay so I'm going to make fun of gay people so they know I'm not gay".

you're*

I'm honestly glad.

@JC_Denton: Well, some Filipinos and other South Asians are actually pretty darn similar to hispanics.

It's currently $9.99 on STEAM! Come on people!

@gryphy: again, I'm not talking about linear levels and storytelling. I'm talking about linear gameplay.

@fbh: I'm not talking about level design. I'm talking about events. In this level they showed, you HAVE to jump onto the enemy. You also HAVE to get stuck in the staircase. These scripted events are cheap ways to fool you into thinking it's cinematic.

@Pepe Thunder: Comparing video games to movies? Really?

Yay for extreme linearity, QTE, and bad AI.

@☭CHARIZARD☭: The Homefront developers have repeatedly admitted to being inspired by Half-Life 2, and that's a good thing IMO

@RT102: I was far more excited about TES5 tbh.

@emcglone316: Yep, NPH wasn't the only guy that was just cashing a check last night... they were all awkward and you could tell that they had never played games in their lives.
