I’ve always worn earplugs on bikes but it’s not one or the other, it’s in addition to. A quieter helmet adds another layer that not only reduces the need to turn the volume up but it also gives a way more comfortable ride, especially when doing longer trips.

It makes more sense to invest in a quieter helmet than just turn up the volume even more. You’re already competing with wind and road noise. Making it louder is just gonna accelerate the hearing damage.

It’s probably also automakers lobbying to squash any changes to allow minicars because they want to keep charging more and more for their cartoonishly large vehicles, safety be damned.

I wanted to engage in an actual debate as to the merits of apple’s alleged innovations. That’s why I said “honest question.”

So you knew the answers already so why pretend to not know or you did what the majority of tech literate people do and use the internet. So you’re either proving my point even more or just coming across as lazy.
