You do know that the original R32 GT-R’s MSRP in 1989 was roughly around $45,000 US, correct?

I’m talking about the R35 since its introduction, not the latest model year. 

I’m talking relative to the types of cars it would embarrass. And it’s even further out of reach for the same demographic that was buying the old models. The regular GT-R now costs more than a base 911. That’s ridiculous. 

Such a sad story how they turned an everyman’s supercar-beating legend into just another high-priced car of the same category. The R32s-R34s are the better models.
