There are people that have Facebook and experience none of those problems. There’s this weird idea that a communication tool is at fault for some people’s misery instead of the way that it’s used.

Many children who are bullied aren’t going to know if they’re in the majority or not. It’s silly to assume that they won’t feel self-conscious or shamed when others talk about their appearance in a negative way.
Not sure what you mean. Female genital mutilation is a problem in many countries.
“Shaming the child” is pretty self-explanatory. Regardless of whether they’re made to feel like a freak or something else, the point is not to negatively affect the person it was done to. The wording, “some people” makes it clear that it’s not everybody that has an issue with this topic will end up affecting the…
The point is to explain to the parents whatever evidence-based argument you have without making the child feel like they are a “freak” or somehow different. There’s bullying against both circumcised and uncircumcised people. You can make them feel self-conscious even if you’re trying to defend them. It happens all the…
Omg, I vaguely remember that lol. I feel old.
You know you can still condemn those things without making the people on the receiving end of those practices feel like shit, right? The key word is nuance.
I actually didn’t see your other post, so I’m not sure what you said. I agree it’s usually the other way around. Nobody should be shaming either one though.
Slightly off topic. I find it silly how some people attack a parent’s decision to do a circumcision without realizing that they’re shaming the child. Whatever you prefer or believe in, some nuance is necessary for a subject that is a sensitive one for many.
“But are we not better than this utter bullshit?”
No.
Do aliens exist? Most likely.
Is it likely that aliens are routinely visiting Earth and flying around our atmosphere? No.
What variables? Plex users most definitely use their computers for other things besides media (VMs being one of them). Just check out the forums. Nobody is talking about reporting a problem to a tech.
A computer restarting isn’t a problem when you’re away since you can configure apps to open on startup. Major updates…
lol Why are you so angry? People leave their PCs on for reasons other than “responsibilities”. When I’m traveling, I download movies from my server at home to watch on the plane, hotel, etc. People use it for backup or they login from another location if they don’t have their laptop with them. Ideally, you’d want to…
Europe does have some surprisingly decent ones but it’s still hit or miss depending on where you go. If I stay with similar foods when abroad, I can “schedule” when I go a little better. You end up automatically knowing how many portions or which types of food you’re fine with for that time of day.
I’ve traveled globally my whole life and I STILL despise public bathrooms. I usually keep the eating light (small and plain sandwiches, salads, water only, etc.) until I get to wherever I’m staying. My go to emergency snack that I carry with me if there are no good options is granola w/ dried fruit.
“quitting a decent job seems like an extreme reaction to being yelled at for legitimate reasons.”
Welcome to Hollywood.
