I don’t recommend waterproof shoes. If any water does get inside of the shoe, it takes forever to dry. They’re also a lot hotter. The regular version of the XA Pro 3Ds are better IMO. They’re breathable for warm weather but you can throw on thicker socks when you’re in colder climates.

I’d love to keep using f.lux but in my case, having a native version is better. I got an older MBP where there’s an on-screen issue with f.lux if you have graphics switching enabled.
