$60 for hardware that you can only have 30 pre-selected games on? If anything, this will encourage DIYers to build their own setup with tons more games for different classic consoles for about half the money. The nostalgia crowd being the exception.

I think any media player software (especially if you’re paying for it) should be able to play content offline on LAN without having to resort to hacks or changes in the settings.
