It looks like they styled the lower portion to look more off-road-y, which looks fine but a bit out of character on an X5. But maybe they’ll use that as an opportunity to make the M stand out as even more sporty?
Just stick a BEAMS 3S-GE in there like Toyota intended! ;)
It’s not as awkward as this angle, though.
I’m going to assume that OP knows that it’s not a Supra, but is comparing the kitted Supras on display with this iconic gen6 Celica meme. I had a similar first reaction (“Dafuq does a sixth-gen Celica have to do with any of this?”), but upon further reflection, I can see how the fascia on the blue Supra can evoke…
To be fair, Toyota is missing from the new Supra as well.
The problem with relying on cockpit footage is that you can’t feel the car. For example, if the rear is getting loose again (having just been off-circuit), a late correction might have been entirely justified.
This... is an awkward angle. Maybe it’s the tiny, period wheel/tire combo. But also maybe that back end is very large.
I forgot how horrific the Veilside cars were.
I semi disagree with that last point. I think he has become a more mature and exacting competitor since the switch to Mercedes, and I revere his talents more because of it.
Ortiz was shot “in an amusement center” ... Ortiz was shot in the leg
It’s not so much hate as recognizing a disingenuous reaction from Hamilton. I don’t so much care that he called for the penalty, it just seems like he’s playing a part to avoid as much blowback as possible.
Seriously? I guess you missed the part where Hamilton immediately whined over the radio about an “unsafe rejoin” because he wasn’t allowed to pass and have his way. Lewis was no victim here. Mercedes whined and got their way, again. A lot of the drivers do complain during races....I’d argue that Seb is worse than…
Oh that’s cool. I hadn’t seen that before! I like the Euro one more!?
That’s because in Europe, cars are mandated to have at least one rear fog lamp which has to be red. I suspect the outer red lights are the brake/taillights, and the inner ones are the fog lights, with the reverse light in between so the two red light beams don’t blend together, so you can always tell which is the…
Hotter take, the breadvan is actually fugly.
Curt,
(But if we want to get into brake-specific fuel consumption, I’m down).
Poking holes. Heh.
