Oh man, I had a olive green* ‘98 Altima SE, manual. Plaid interior, white gauges, and that unstoppable engine. It leaned like a mofo in corners (especially coming to it from a Golf), but it had a high funk/quirk component, it was fun and practical going clubbing with friends, and later holding a car seat for our kids,

Star for German Leasing Silver, a term I shall now steal and make my own.

How does Miami Blue compare to Toyota’s Blue Flame? Other than the matter of how a few people will actually buy Corollas in the latter while all Macans in the real world will be German Leasing Silver, that is.

I see you’ve come across my hero in the wild.

Hay now, you’re a block star, put the brakes on, get sprayed.

Hofmeister is identical, subtle bangle butt and ducktail is pretty damn close if not identical. Panel gap for the trunk is identical. The winged badge ties it all together.

Good call with the Bonneville comp (and similar levels of unnecessary but “of the moment” plastic cladding going on here). I dig this move - no reason not to hope for more sedans trying for better driving dynamics.

GPS is pretty good these days.

Or auto charging...

I’m not plugging in my car when I get home,. but I’d gladly put a contactless charger on the floor that charges every time I pull in!

Fake outrage about a Tesla, played up by fanboys and spread across multiple auto sites? I’m shocked.

yes.  A bulldozer.

A nice pic of the smashed Porsche... no, don’t thank me... you’re welcome!

Small correction, the TR win was at Monza.

I disagree, as does my whip for the 24h of Nurburgring a few years back...

Is that Lucid Motors on the bottom left of the map?

Yeah, I’m glad to hear Condo Guy was finally kicked to the curb. Miller’s a great place. Beautiful scenery. Heated bathrooms. They even put the good gritty “I’ve been fist deep in a race car” soap in the ladies’ room when I was there, which was much appreciated. Fun track, too.

If McLaren should stop making cars because of this gap, then most automakers shouldn’t even exist. You’ve seen the panel gaps on the Model 3, right?

I think the color scheme looks awesome.

Looking forward to seeing them stuck in a half-deployed state 4 years from now.
