You’re right it is a nice color.

It’s shit like this that’s so bad.

What’s that wishlist? Japanese Reliability, German Engineering, Italian Design?

Kind of amazing how much better BMW made the ZHP for what, a 15 hp increase over a standard 330i? Still kind of miss mine from time to time.

I was under the impression that was not a camera, but more like timething to measure wind speed or something like that?

89 is the minimum required fuel for the 40i line of BMWs.

Just ordered a similarly MSRPd BMW and ended up getting 9% off.

I’m pretty sure they’re putting the same 10sp in all the trucks.

? I’m pretty sure 3.5 Ecoboost also has a low, flat torque band.

Nope, see below. Besides 3/4 ton diesels that have plenty of get up and go, I’m not familiar with how quick feeling diesels in light duty vehicles feel. Is the gearing usually different in them?

You’re right, I’m not doing Full throttle 0-60 runs but I imagine there’s some loss in acceleration feeling or quickness that’s perceivable compared to my current 365 hp.

Thanks, No air-ride suspension or anything weird like that and I’m not too worried about the exhaust. It’s the Engine/Transmission/AWD/Drive shaft that I’m worried about.

I was just there this past weekend with my wife taking delivery of her new X3 M40i. Matt was our instructor. This skid pad portion of the track was completely frozen over in 13F temps but they let us out there anyway. It was a blast! Taking that SUV out on the track and then on the offroad course was impressive as

Yep, 3.5 Eco owner here and I would sure miss the HP compared to this diesel. Torque is similar to my current 420 but the what? ~.5-1 second hit in 0-60 would have me annoyed.

I thought the power numbers were a little underwhelming too, but it turns out they’re pretty competitive with what BMW is putting out in their 3 Liter Six Diesel. (255-hp and a 413-lb of torque)

You’re right there. MPG would have to stay up there while towing a lot to justify this. Worth noting that Ford recommends higher grade gasoline while towing using the Ecoboost, so the cost difference of fuel would be negligible in this scenario.

The MPG number finally hitting 30 in a truck is impressive but between the already Diesel-like numbers of the 2.7(325 horsepower and 400 lb.-ft. of torque )or 3.5(375 horsepower and best-in-class* 470 lb.-ft.) this makes little sense.

Just swapped out that on my wife’s old E83 X3. Was 10 years old with 150K miles on it and it wasn’t that hard to swap out at all. Cheap parts off of Amazon too.

What warranty did you buy? Just bought a brand new one and don’t want to ever be with another BMW out of warranty so I’m already shopping extended warranties.
