“Sera was supposedly the first production car to carry projectors.”

Trust me, I have. Was looking for numbers but I’m guessing you can’t publish that info just yet...?

What’s the acceleration like on these things? Full Size diesels can haul ass. If this thing doesn’t have a little get up and go they’re going to be tough to sell.

I’m really going to miss not having Window controls near the shift lever on my E46 when that time comes.

2.4 l turbo V6. They could call it an F1

It’s a great shape isn’t it?

The Melted crayon smell of an older BMW after it has sat out in the hot sun. There’s something distinctly different about the way they smell when warm.

Really this was COTD?

Looks great in that color compared to the yellow they marketed it with in the beginning.

Don’t tint your tail lights. There’s a reason they’re not already tinted. I can’t stand to be behind someone with tinted lights that are meant to let me know when they’re slowing down or stopping.

Great write up, great pictures and great modifications. Fantastic result!

Welcome to BR.

I think you’ve got a lot to learn.

That Z4M link doesn’t work.

No, I don’t remember the Model U but I see where the Citroen Cactus got its cladding from.

Where am I supposed to put my ponytail on that thing?

A flat plane crank V8 at that. Imagine if BMW would have stuck with V8s one more generation and fought the Mustang GT350 head to head with a second modern flat plane crank V8. Or why wasn’t the S65 a FPC? they already set the precedent in the GTR they should have stuck with that on to the E9X.

Sure, yeah but to go from using it as an actual scoop for the SC intercooler to a black plastic dam is a shame. They should have abandoned it with the switch to turbo.

Which is somewhat odd because BMW has comitted to only using functional aero. Which is why their SUVs have fender vents. Shame on Mini, SHAME!
