I haven't bought an album in 12 years. Since I've had my digital devices (like iPhone iPods etc.) I only buy singles. This is because nowadays the artists aren't as good as they used to be.

At least they're calling it a "slate" and not a "pad".

@Absent Blue: Apple would then canibalize their iPhone sales and profits. A 3G iPod Touch is an iPhone; Why would one company want to sell 2 products that are so similar? It would confuse the customer.

Great numbers for Apple. It does seem that some analysts are worried about next quarter with this whole "antennagate" problem. Free bumpers will also cut into their bottom line. I'm overall optimistic at the sales of the iPad, iPod Touch, and iPhones though. Keep it up, Apple!

@Standish: It helps that they release a new handset ever 3 weeks. It took 12 phones to overtake 1 phone/now 2.

I own an iPhone, but even I love my bros Droid. He just put dev. 2.2 on it and overclocked the cpu to 1 ghz. All that made it pretty smooth which is one of the reasons I didn't really like Android. But now it's lookin' good.
