Screen name doesn’t check out.

Twenty games seems light for someone who could’ve murdered another player with a baseball bat five years ago.

What’s so incredible about Roger is that he’s compensated for losing that step by standing that much closer to the baseline. Seems like he spent the latter half of the match hitting tons of groundstrokes as essentially half-volleys.

Messi/Ronaldo and Magic/Bird/Dr. J come to mind when thinking of Federer/Nadal/Djoker.

They have both lost a stepwatch some of those 2008 final rallies to see something that just doesn’t exist anymore—but yeah, it’s still really, insanely good.

How lucky are we that we get to see two of the greatest tennis players of all time play each other over a decade or more? Can you imagine Lebron v MJ over the course of a decade, with neither losing much of a step?

Really, you just need to look at his background to see where this stuff comes from:

Of course he was going to let her down. June lives with a top commander. Why wouldn’t she offer to be their inside source or spy. Hannah is being held in Gilead while her father has her sister in Canada. His story would easily cancel out any sympathy for the Waterfords.

On the whole not the worst episode–only one embarrassing needledrop and not too many closeups. June’s freedom of movement is completely ridiculous–funny how a woman in a supposedly repressive society can have an impromptu conversation with a Swiss diplomat in a Commander’s house *and* a shouting match with Serena in

Wasn’t there a similar shot on Game of Thrones with Daenerys and her dragon?

Completely agree, this series was an absolute blast to watch.

That whole series was a lot of fun to watch. The crowd is so into the game, the cameras and mics pick up every bit of chatter from the players, the fielding was (generally) excellent, the pitching ridiculous, and the late-inning bombs were timed for maximum drama.

This series has been playing in every bar in Sacramento and it’s been so good and a welcome change from seeing another crusty ass Giants game.

Chik-Fil-A is likely for political reasons, rather than the food. Well, that and all the people who praise Chik-Fil-A as the greatest chicken ever made.

I think that GIF predates Deadspin, let alone my tenure here.

no idea, i’m actually not sure what that GIF is or why it’s named “original.gif” but an error may have been made in dragging in the buttfumble gif. unfortunately this post is so heavy with GIFs i’m afraid to edit it and put the right one in..

Glaring omission:

The runaway cart remains my personal favorite.

Good luck Tim as the White House’s new communication director. The President’s twitter feed will be so much better with your gifs.
