I hope you young'uns here go back and watch Barney Miller sometime. It was a brilliant show, way ahead of its time.

I never, ever thought I'd say this, but Colin Jost was right.

Having grown up in Delaware—firmly planted between Philly and Baltimore—I thought Dominic West's accent as Jimmy NcNulty was pretty good—especially for a British actor. But Aidan Gillen (Mayor Carcetti) from the same show's accent couldn't have been more spot on.

Richard Pryor
Eddie Murphy
Sam Kinison
George Carlin

I immediately hear "Dueling Banjos" playing in my head whenever I read the unending stories about insufferable assholes Kanye and Morrissey. It's a constant race to the bottom to see who can be the most douchey.

I am out of words to describe this fucking shitty year. I had the privilege of seeing Sharon Jones live a few times, and every time I was sore from the experience—my body from dancing and my face from smiling. She was a total original and could command a stage in ways that would make any pop star a third of her age

Ain't that the toot.

If only he could have worked Lena Dunham or Morrissey into this, and then we would have hit the insufferable trifecta!

Without a doubt, Wedding Crashers is one of the most overrated comedies in recent history.

Unbe-fuckin-lievable. Such an amazing singer/songwriter. There are 50 days left of this shitty fucking year. I want to close my eyes and hide until it's over.

And yet you get to keep living. That's the real tragedy here.

You'll have to pry this Dos Equis from my cold, dead hand.

I really miss the single-episode continuity South Park. The last few seasons featuring a season-long plot have been getting progressively less funny and boring.

2016:

Can someone please just tell me if there is any way I can still get a blowjob from Madonna?

There have been a lot of tragic deaths in 2016. You can now add the United States of America to that list.

Frasier is the most overrated television show in the history of the medium.

Man, even when she's sharing a political sentiment that I completely agree with in a deservedly self-mocking way, she still comes off as totally insufferable.

I'm right there with you. I made it to the end, but I only did so out of morbid curiosity. The tone of the series was so confused—it didn't seem to know if it wanted to be a throwback to old blaxploitation movies, a serious drama with commentary about social issues, or a superhero show. Very disappointing.

Yay! He's not coming to my town!
