How could developers get some of the Kinect power on the Kinect-less Xbox One but also still leave the option to have Kinect on all the Xbox Ones still sold? You still need the ability to swap to dashboard and other apps and whatnot....Doesn't make much sense to me unless I'm missing something.

Considering DVD is still the primary format of physical PC game delivery, and just about every major PC game comes out both digitally and in physical retail format, I wouldn't be remotely surprised if Blue-Ray survives this generation.
