Another counterpoint:

I have one of the 4.3l v8 vantage (380hp) and it is just about perfect. I drove a v12 vantage the other day and while incredibly fun, it was too much power to use on a regular basis. That said, the same amount of power (510 hp) is just about right in my Range Rover sport.

It has also been surprisingly reliable for a 29 year old Italian sports car.

I am a person. I lived and drove in the ‘90s. I never liked chrome wheels.

I’m so jealous. I have only had my autobiography for 4 months. The local dealer has a fully loaded Estoril blue svr, but I can't justify the hit I would take trading so soon. Enjoy!

My sister had an Excel. That was the definition of shitbox and would not have survived the ages as this one did. Still, CP

They really messed up. I couldn't wipe the smile from my face when I test drove an Elise. It made for an easy purchase decision.

The TPMS Light may indeed be simple, but mine had to get sent from Minneapolis to Chicago to get that sorted.

I remember seeing that car in person at the LA auto chow circa 1991 or 92. It was beautiful!

Tavarish, you chose better than Doug. 2007 was the completion of the transition to Jaguar guts and the beginning of the Reliable Range Rover. 2005 and 2006 were incremental transition years from BMW to Jaguar and should be avoided.

Last year, we bought a 2012 LR4 that was in stock at a Chevy dealership that was owned by thegroup that also owned the local Land Rover dealership. I had the vehicle transferred to them and had them run it through the CPO process. There were a few items that the addressed to qualify it as CPO (brakes were the most

1984 Audi 5000s (aka 100). My mechanic urged me to get rid of it because it was in too frequently for service.

I guess I am an old man at 46 ;). How do you like your Evora? I toyed with the idea of a '14 that the local dealer has had for a while. F-Type R as well. I really wanted a manual transmission though, so that was ruled out.

I only put about 1000 miles on it before I stored it for the winter. No major surprises so far. It's not the fastest car in the world. My '15 Range Rover Sport is probably faster in a straight line.

No, not the garage, but it took the Elise down to ashes and destroyed my Range Rover as well.

Not supercars, but...

Start/ Stop ignition. I drive an SUV with a 510hp supercharged V8. I threw fuel efficiency out the window with this choice. I highly doubt it is doing anything other than annoy me at stoplights.
