Except she knows he has a history of lying to her. Remember the intimidation packet from season 1? And then the volunteering in politics?

Alicia clearly cares fairly deeply about perception and optics. On that level it could be entirely personal in terms of why it matters and it would still matter a great deal.
You can some of those issues back much further, from what we see of her relationship to her Mom and Brother and talk about her Dad there were probably plenty of grounds for trust issues.
I'd find that to be a more interesting story-line than anything to do with an intern-problem, but it does open up a TON of questions about Peter's ability to keep this one thing secret when so much else was out there and floating about. Unless the answer is that the revealed secrets were the tips of larger icebergs.
What is sort of killing me about the character of late is that as she becomes more serious she seems to be becoming less deliberate and considered.
I would certainly agree that simple=/=bad. What I was pointing out is that I think there are more structural parallels to Zuko alone than I thought you were initially recognizing.
And the bits about her healing process? It's not as ancient as Zuko's flashbacks, but it's still important backstory for the character.
Expansive might be the better term.
Isn't the spirit stuff working on some of the world expansion levels of Zuko Alone?
Glasswalker - Bonegnawer alliance FTW!
Long as you don't drag us all down to gurps-land.
I have to say, this review really sells me.
I suspect there are a number of different nods from different origins?
I already told my family good-bye, that I was going to be gone for a few weeks to Alpha Centauri.
Thanks for the info! Still seems like something that should be challenged in court, though the actor's own response is shaping up to be more interesting.
Yeah, that bit seems… dubiously legal to me. I suppose it depends on the recording laws in the state in question. Most of the confidentiality laws I run into would require the therapist to report it. And the therapist may have, but that a third party present recorded and then released it? I have no idea how that might…
I didn't think that what was on the screen was all that bad, but I could totally see how a tighter script could have been buried beneath it.
I think that's probably true only in the Ring Wraith area. Sauron strikes me as a secret jazz fan.
I squeeled a little at a reference to MtA. Now my coworkers are looking at me, curse my low investment in Arcana.
I think they're CR 1/2. 1 in 6 is a winged Cathead.
