He has the frame of reference of knowing you, which could be good or bad.

Yeah, I'm down that rabbit hole myself looking through any potential Islamic connections beyond Manzikert. There's certainly a lot of stuff going on, but more fluid than disjunctive.

That would be a good end, but this is one of those situations where I literally mean 'I've seen.' I keep telling myself I'll look up the articles referenced in the argument but I never have.

Ah, now I want Skinner to play James -
Done and done, and I mean done.

Sure, but even that notionality is a bit of thing. I mean, you read someone like Boethius or even accounts of Justinian's Italian campaigns and what's really striking is how much the Roman/Imperial system isn't bound up strictly in the notion of heads of state as we conceive of them today. The eastern Emperor's

Eh, I'm cautious about that conversation with any pre-19th century figure. The bounds for that potential identity are just too different from what we would easily recognize.

He still keeps a title under the Imperial system and cutting out Romulus Augustus was less of a thing than it seems since he was a pretender and the real deal was sitting in the East under the protection of the same Emperor Odoacer claimed loyalty to. Met mine in HS - we can't even remember when or where, we just worked out it by cold math and probability - but didn't start dating til we were well in our 30s. Still horrible?

First come, first serve is really the only way to make something as complicated as polyandry fair.

Oh Carl Banks' duck stuff is a fantastic suggestion.

Batman the Brave and the Bold is excellent on Netflix as well. It's about the same tone as Ultimate Spiderman but with a willingness to treat more mature themes - in the emotional sense - and experiment with the broad and deep history of comic books and animation. There's some great genre stuff in there too.

God that series was amazing.

There's some good stuff. Wonder Woman and Aquaman have both gotten good coverage and overall good treatment. Court of Owls was cool. And there were some great c-list titles like All Star Western, Demon Knights, and Dial H.

It is, though my favorite one is could God be incarnate as an oak tree?

BUT! You get to be ridiculously good at managing bureaucratic institutions - as both a client and a leader.
