Except you’re missing the larger, more important issue:
“Now, please let all of the uber-entitled keyboard warriors eager to take up the cause of the week flame me below. Your rage fueled tirades will only serve to make me laugh.”
I like how you write your own tirade and then just immediately, preemptively shut down any possible response by dismissing them as written by…
Nothing screams “I’m not bothered or riled up” like a wall of text about how funny it is to you. Reddit is (soon to be was) a platform run by its users, ya dink. All your presuppositions are wrong
Theres one little problem with this argument. The issue isn’t that Reddit wants to charge for it’s API, but that the amount they want to charge is astronomical and way higher than other websites such as Imgur, and the extremely short timeline they gave with pricing information.
You know what’s more akin to a landed gentry? Corporate CEOs. The Reddit employees didn’t vote you, ya dickwad (insert Monty python reference).
Important note, Marisa is explicitly bi/pan and probably poly. Her questline in world tour questline explicitly has her considering suitors of different genders and then choosing both. She even says theres room for you as a third regardless of what gender you pick for your character.
Shes also thirsty as hell for…
Eh, they’ve been needing a design refresh for years now. This is less a ‘look at them pushing things forward when they don’t need to’ and more a ‘they’re late in doing this, but at least they did well with it when they finally got around to it’.
I watched both linked trailers and it seems like a stretch. bioshock didn’t invent steampunk, robots and monorails.
Okay, I’m confused. Did you link to the wrong Bioshock Infinite trailer, because... that has absolutely nothing in common with the Clockwork Revolution trailer, aside from similar vibes given off by the setting. Was there a different trailer for Bioshock Infinite that had more similar shots and framing and such?
Was Isiah having a bad day and so wrote this as a way of feeling better?
Right, that’s the whole joke. In fact the absence of details or context made it even funnier, just one of ten thousand meaningless apology videos posted every year. My theatre uproared with laughter.
A celebrity has to issue an apology based on social media reactions to even the mildest of controversy.
This story is actually important for a lot of reasons that are still relevant (disclaimer: I work with these people and on these stories.) Here’s the original report:
With great powder
The fact that they're charging $15 for the story missions is WILD. Just another bad decision in the long chain.
I always think about the L4D2 controversy. A bunch of steam players made a boycott group, and then on launch day the majority of the group were playing the game.
Why would companies NOT do it? They’ve been doing it forever.
Subreddits going dark for three days sends the message that whatever Reddit does, they’ll always come back.
I don’t even use anything impacted, and I’m just sick of this attitude. The lack of care, the ‘fuck the public’, the sheer arrogant contempt for others is not just nauseating but wearing.
