Odd editorial decision to refer to the acknowledged inspiration for a game as ‘the original Stardew-like.’ Does that really pump SEO that much?

yeah that is obscene even for “professional” vr. This is the sort of thing where a few companies with more money than braincells will buy for “productivity” before they all get tossed into a storage closet until the liquidation sale.

I recall reading somewhere that it ended up being a permission/legal thing. Not it being difficult.

That same year it announced a remake of the first Knights of the Old Republic at a PS5 showcase that immediately generated tons of excitement. A year later Bloomberg reported that the project was already running into trouble and would be moved to a completely new studio under the Embracer umbrella.

What is likely the culprit is that sales were not good enough and embracer group pilled the plug rather than pay for continued development.

I was thinking this too... how can they be one-dimensional? Wouldn’t a one dimensional object just be a single point?

I think that a lot of people (myself included) think that when you purchase a game, you should have everything available within the game. If it were F2P, everyone kind of expects microtransactions. But a full $70+ game? I really think microtransactions need to stay the f- out unless we’re talking expansion-like shit.

I think a lot of people overlook that that with Diablo in particular, the main draw has always been getting stuff.  The Diablo series is a straight up skinner box, so basically this is like “Have you considered turning off the part of your brain that makes this series fun in the first place?”

This is why I won’t be playing anytime soon. I’m buying and playing the game to get the cool looking armor. I’m not paying a 70-dollar fee to then buy a 20-dollar skin, thanks.

I’ll check this out down the road when the game is on sale for Black Friday at 20 or 30 bucks. I fucking hate battle/season passes and cosmetic

Also, also him: *Tweet truly unhinged filth and pretend like it’s cool because it was 10 years ago and he’s a “different person” now, despite current behaviors indicating maybe he’s not THAT different.*

Him: You can’t take a joke >:O

FaZe continues to look like the worst examples of gaming culture. I hope she gets out of the contract cleanly, though I’d prefer this shitstain of a human being get the boot instead, because this is some straight up harassment from Rain.

I actually like the new one more then the old.

The article writers don’t like it either. Kotaku writers vs. Kotaku owners is an ancient ongoing war.

You know, considering how awful and intrusive Kotaku’s ads are on mobile, I think it’s kind of hilarious to see you calling out what is fairly benign (albeit also still pretty crappy) compared to your own site’s ads, which are massive and page engulfing.

Honest question: If you want to see what people are saying on the internet - who don’t make videos - where do you go other than Reddit and Twitter now?

Forums are basically dead and Discords are more insulated. There’s, uhhh, comment sections like this, I guess. I’d gladly give up Reddit and Twitter, but it seems like

I knew it was the hellraiser reference before i even read the article. it was the ONLY quest that was memorable in the beta and because it was an homage took the ‘horror’ out of it.

It’s just an homage to HELLRAISER and Frank & Julia.

Maybe keep the rude and dehumanizing thoughts about someone’s body to yourself next time?

Just read actual reviews by movie critics or even your favorite Youtube streamer. Still likely a better gauge than randos posting 0 ratings on Metacritic and Rotten Tomatoes.
