Welcome to capitalism - this is the way. It objectively makes almost every business worse from the customer perspective all in the name of shareholder value.

Shame Monster Hunter World didn’t make the list
I know there are going to be a lot of “Don’t let the door hit you in the ass on the way out!” comments, but Ed Sheeran is right. This lawsuit is bogus & Marvin Gaye’s family is ruining creativity in music with this bullshit.
“It wasn’t a big deal when Superman died”
I think that’s his point. With all other characters, the writers want you to believe it’s real this time and it is the end of the character, or at least pretend to believe it is real. With Adam Warlock, nobody has to pretend because it is explicitly. It’s kind of putting a lampshade on the fact that everybody knows…
Same thing as the movie industry. No middle ground anymore. It’s either massive bloated blockbusters or tiny no budget indies. This is just the endpoint of how capitalism works in media nowadays and it’s not going to change until there’s a massive crash in the industry.
There seems to be a growing perception that every AAA game must be a forever-game with 60+ hours of busy-work over a highly replayable game.
I’m just going to circumvent the content of the article to nitpick the “world without watches” comment, as if the 12/24-hour clock only existed since like the 14th century and wasn’t invented well more than a millennium before that.
Isn’t “A D&D campaign, but a video game” what a large percentage of game development has been focused on since the beginning of RPGs as a genre?
People don’t seem to get that the purpose of these agencies isn’t to just stop monopolies from happening, it’s also to prevent monopolies from happening. Yeah, cloud gaming isn’t a big thing right now, but as time marches on, everything that can is going digital, eventually it’s going to be big, that’s inevitable.
“The CMA’s decision hinges on cloud gaming tech that no one believes in yet”
Maybe there's some truth to that but it's weird you post that on an article about bad reviews due to shit performance and a massive patch made in a shitty way and not on a post where it's more valid, like one specifically about review bombing.
Never heard of Waypoint but if I had known about them I would have been a frequent visitor and listener. This sucks.
I came to say the same thing. You can see her outside of her armor(that isn’t porn) and she’s clearly fit as fuck with muscle on her. She’s in no way fat so I’m at a loss on this one. Mei(again not porn) you could maybe start to make an argument but she leans more on the 乇乂ㄒ尺卂 ㄒ卄丨匚匚 before I’d say being actually…
She’s not fat tho? Like I can't find any depiction of her as anything other than very fit and muscular. Not as muscular as zarya but still strong looking. You don't have to be fat to like food/want to eat a lot
I’m an overweight guy and have often felt similarly about the body positivity movement. I don’t want to be shamed for my shape. I also don’t think it’s insensitive or wrong to suggest changes to my diet. I don’t think that a doctor suggesting an attempt at weight loss is medical bias. There are *obviously* harms that…
The hyper-realism stuff is so bad. People remember the cartoon versions because they have distinct looks and can emote in fun, cartoony ways. These are just literally photorealistic animals and you can do almost nothing with them.
The first entry is all about it! I just grouped them together.
Iirc you don’t even need VR anymore.
